Places to Meet Women
When you're in High School or College you're usually surrounded by desirable females, so finding them is not much of a problem. However, once you get out into the "real world" it seems your options get a little more limited. So I recently queried the readers of The Don Juan Newsletter for Places to Meet Women that they have discovered which they feel might be of some benefit to their fellow Don Juans. This is what they had to say.
There are two dynamite places I go to meet women.
1) Chapters (or any trendy bookstore with a Starbucks or other coffee shop). This is an ideal place to meet hot women. Just stay out of that whole Dickenson or Bronte section and you're bound to run into someone you find intensely attractive who's not a total bitch. The key is not to use reading material as a pickup. Get to that later when you want to mirror her. Chat them up. The key here is to get them to have a coffee with you on the spot. In their mind, having coffee with you IS a first date.
2) Karaoke bars. I'm serious. I've done the dance club scene, the martini bar scene, the hot spots... none compare to the Karaoke bar. It also helps to have a really good singing voice (secret: there's no such thing as talent, it's all practice). A Karaoke bar is a tremendous place to meet women. I used to work as a host so I know what I'm talking about. 70% of the women that go to Karaoke bars are between 18-25, come in groups of 4 or 5, and are rarely accompanied by more than 2 guys. The other 30% really can sing and they're there to show off, not to get picked up or have fun, just to bask in applause. If they can sing really good, forget about them prima donnas.
Coffee shops, coffee shops, and even cooler coffee shops... Find the right coffee shop already!
I have always found the gym to be a great place to meet women.
- Most women at the gym care about their body and are in shape.
- The Gym is a great way to show off some muscles without "really" showing off.
- Being at the gym shows women that you care about your body.
- Most girls I have met at the gym are easy to talk to, unless they are serious body builders.
I've found that there are many beautiful and decently moral women at church. Not to say that this is right for every man, but I met my girlfriend of 11 months there. Even before her, I had dated several rather attractive women and found that they have remained close friends with me even though that part of our relationship had gone bad. Just a thought for anyone who might be looking.
Bookstores are great. It gives a good impression, and you can always ask what she's reading, so it's a built in icebreaker.
Well, I just moved to Fl. So I searched for a place to meet women, and I found it. Not far from my house is a hike and bike trail, a path for people to run, walk, bike, and rollerblade. I try to go there at least every other day. I usually rollerblade, that way it's easier to just turn around a start talking to a passing runner, you just have to be careful not to scare the person or you might give her the wrong impression.
In response to your question, I have to answer that the single best place to meet women in my experience is the Tube (I'm a Londoner. The Subway, if you're American!)
Here's how it's done; simply look around on any journey into work in the mornings, and see what books the type of women you're interested in are reading. Make a note of the author's name, and title if possible, then go and buy the book. Read it, preferably on the train. Then, the next time you see a good-looking woman reading it, or another book by the same author, you've got the perfect opening line; "I see you're reading XXXX. Good, isn't it?" or whatever variation you want to use.
If you're lucky, you might be able to position yourself next to someone reading the same book as you are currently reading; even better! Not only will she be impressed that you are such a wonderfully well-read man, obviously sensitive because you've read a "woman's" book or two, she will be impressed that you have the same excellent taste as her! After that, the conversation is natural (I've never met a woman yet who'd rather read, than talk!), and can lead on to a coffee, date or whatever; it's all down to you. And anyway, the worst that can happen is that you will read a good book!
Hi, I've found that libraries are a great place to meet attractive, intelligent and aspiring women.
My response to your question: The Dentist.
When I was teenager I had braces on my teeth, and every time I was in the dentist's lobby waiting for my appointment, a lot of fine ladies would come in for check ups. Until now even though I already had my braces off, I hang out in the dentist's office to meet some fine women.
Last year, I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and found about 4 girls for every guy. I used to date average women. Now I'm dating a beautiful 6' tall model who treats me like a king :P If you're looking for the love of a smart, healthy, good looking pure lady, no other place comes close.
A place to meet girls - their work place. But you can't let it be obvious that you are there to see THEM. Just be a customer. Be friendly NOT obsessive
